Edward Frank Jawor, 66, of Ripon, died unexpectedly on April 13, 1994, at Berlin Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Posen, IL, on April 19, 1927, a son to Frank E. and Jeanette (Wizner) Jawor. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII and was a member of the V.F.W. Schultz-Klemp-Wentland Post #5278, Ripon. Until his retirement from the Ripon Post Office, Ed had been a postal carrier. Most recently he was a carpenter.
Survivors include one son, Randall Jawor and one daughter, Holly Jawor, both of Ripon; one brother, William Jawor of Minneapolis, MN; and two sisters, Virginia Liva of Calument Park, IL, and Genevieve Velenti of Dalton, IL. His parents preceded him in death.
Friends may call Sunday from 4-7 pm at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. A V.F.W. service will be held on Sunday at 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:00 am Monday, April 18, 1994, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Ripon. The Reverend John A. Schmitz will officiate. Inurnment will follow in St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery, Town of Ripon.
