Edward Helmuth Kentopp, age 60, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Thursday, August 19, 1954, at Ripon Municipal Hospital.
Edward was born September 8, 1893, in Ripon, WI, the son of Gottlieb and Augusta Kentopp. He was educated in Ripon public schools. Edward worked as a line formen with the Wisconsin Power and Light for many years until a serious accident. He worked the last 20 years with Northfield Iron Company as a salesman. Edward served our country in World War I and was a member of the American Legion.
Survivors include one step-son, William Below of Ripon; one niece, Mrs. Dorothy Worth of Oshkosh; one nephew, Richard Kempton of Oshkosh. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.
Friends may call on Saturday, August 21, 1954, after 6:00 pm at Butzin Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Edward will be held on Monday, August 23, 1954, at 2:00 pm at Butzin Funeral Home with The Reverend E.E. Schieler officiating. Interment will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon.
