Edward J. Nyberg, 86, formerly of Watertown, died July 21, 1994, at Parkview Care Center, Ripon, WI.
He was born May 8, 1908, in Watertown, the son of Edward and Mary Light Nyberg. He was educated in Watertown. He married Marion Jane Safford on May 8, 1948, and in 1989, she passed away. Mr. Nyberg had been a farmer. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Watertown and the Assembly of God Church in Crosby.
He is survived by one sister, Fern Rommel of Watertown; one sister-in-law, Phyllis Nyberg of Brainerd; one step-son, Henry Bohenstengel of St. Germain, WI; one step-daughter, Mary Sauer of Ripon, WI and nieces and nephews.
Graveside service for Mr. Nyberg will be held on Tuesday, July 26, 1994, at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Watertown. Reverend Norman Olson will officiate.
