Edward Radke

Edward A. Radke, 97, formerly of 739 Watson Street, Ripon, died on May 4, 1994, in St. Louis, MO.
He was born August 27, 1896, in Ripon. On August 31, 1922 he married Amanda Haack. She preceded him in death on April 18, 1986. Edward served in the Navy Air Force during WWI. He attended both Oshkosh and Colorado College and was an Industrial Arts Professor for 43 years at Joliet, IL Jr. College. After his retirement, he and his wife made their home in Ripon where he was a member of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon.
Survivors include his two sons, Kenneth E. Radke of Joliet, IL, and Dr. Jack D. Radke of St. Louis, MO; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Edward Radke will be held on Saturday from 9:30 to 11:00 am at Our Saviour’s Untied Church of Christ in Ripon.
Funeral services for Edward Radke will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am in the Chapel at Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon. The Reverend James D. Mohr will officiate. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ripon. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be made to Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ.
