Edward Schmudlach

Edward Harold Schmudlach, age 77, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2014, at Fountain View Care Center, Ripon.
Edward was born April 4, 1936, in Mecan Township, the son of Adolph and Edna (Peterson) Schmudlach. On September 8, 1962, he was united in marriage to Elaine Harke at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Princeton. Edward was employed at Admanco where he worked as a cutter. He was a member and served as an usher at Mt. Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife, Elaine Schmudlach, Ripon, WI; one son, Travis Schmudlach, Ripon, WI; brother, Harold (Rosalie) Schmudlach, Montello, WI; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Edward was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Rudolph “Rudy” Schmudlach; two sisters, Rosalena “Rosie” Sommerfeld, and Leona “Onie” Keipe.
Visitation for Edward Schmudlach will be held on Monday, February 17, 2014, from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 320 Mt. Zion Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.
Funeral Service for Edward Schmudlach will be held Monday, February 17, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Ripon. Pastor Dennis Meier will officiate. A memorial is being established in his name.
The family would like to thank Agnesian Hospice Hope and Fountain View Care Center for their loving care and kindness that was given to Edward and his family.
