Edwin E. Messerschmidt, age 44, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Tuesday, December 21, 1954, in Ripon.
Edwin was born November 22, 1910, in the Town of St. Marie, WI, the son of Edward and Hattie (Zuehls) Messerschmidt. He attended Green Lake Public Schools and worked as a machinest at Green Giant Company Ripon Plant. On November 22, 1945, Edwin married Jeanette Gregor in Ripon.
Survivors include his wife, Jeanette; one sister, Mrs. Milan Kaatz of Green Lake and one brother, Clarence Messerschmidt of Princeton. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call on Wednesday, December 22, 1954, after 7:00 pm at Butzin Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Edwin will be held on Friday, December 24, 1954, at 2:00 pm at The First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ripon with The Reverend E.E. Schieler officiating. Interment will take place at Bluffton Cemetery in the Town of Brooklyn.
