Elaine Ehrenberg

Elaine Marie Ehrenberg, age 83, of Ripon, passed away on January 29, 2011, surrounded by her loving family.
Elaine was born to Herman and Mary (Treptow) Berger on July 30, 1927 in Ripon Wisconsin. She attended Ripon High School and on September 23, 1944 she married Roland Ross Ehrenberg at Grace Lutheran Church in Ripon. They were happily married for 45 years until his passing on September 13, 1989. Elaine worked at Ripon Foods for 30 plus years. Elaine and Rollie farmed for most of their married life. She was a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Ripon Lioness, Grace Lutheran Ladies Aid. Elaine was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and a terrific cook, especially her pies.
Survivors include, six children, Mary (Arden) Weich of Ripon, Sherry (Burton) Werch of Berlin, Bob (Ann) Ehrenberg of Ripon, Rick (Pat) Ehrenberg of Ripon, Randy (Debbie) Ehrenberg of Hartford, and Ron (Barb) Ehrenberg of Ripon; twelve grandchildren, Rodney (Lisa) Weich, Todd (Jessica) Weich, Doug (Wendy) Werch, Amy (Dan) Smet, Jenny Brooks, Robin Ehrenberg, Ryan,& Ross Ehrenberg, Daniel, & Mariah Ehrenberg, Casey, and Jesse Ehrenberg; six great-grandchildren, Andrew, & Austin Weich, Abigail, Bryce, and Lauren Werch and Erica Weich; sister-in-law, Betty Kovalaske of Eden, WI, and many nieces and nephews. Elaine was preceded in death by her husband Roland, her parents, two brothers, Hilbert and Gerald; two sisters, Viola, and Millie; and granddaughter, Katie Ehrenberg.
Visitation for Elaine Ehrenberg will be held Friday, February 4, 2011, from 4-7 PM at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Drive, Ripon, WI, and again on Saturday, February 5, 2011 from 10-11 AM at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 430 Griswold St. Ripon, WI.
Funeral services for Elaine Ehrenberg will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at 11 AM at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 430 Griswold St. Ripon, WI, with Pastor Sandra Krynik officiating. Interment will follow at Green Lake Center Cemetery, Town of Green Lake. Memorials may be given in her memory to: American Diabetes Assn, 375 Bishops Way #220, Brookfield, WI, 53005, or American Heart Assn, 660 E Mason, suite 200, Milwaukee, WI. 53202
