Elaine Stellmacher

Mrs. Elaine G. Stellmacher, age 67, of Ripon, WI, passed away February 16, 1993 at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond dud Lac, WI.

She was born July 24, 1925 in Plymouth, WI, the daughter of John and Gertrude (Meyer) Splitt. She was educated in Ripon and prior to her retirement was employed by Ripon Foods. On June 22, 1946, she married Floyd Stellmacher. Mrs. Stellmacher was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church of Ripon and president of the Altar and Rosary Sodality. She was also a member and treasurer for the past 20 years of VFW Auxiliary 5278 in Ripon and member of The Milwaukee Area Catholic Church Women.

Mrs. Stellmacher is survived by her husband; two daughters, Cynthia (Jack) Strack of Schererville, IN, and Judith (John) Scharschmidt of Markesan; one son, Michael (Catherine Agnew) of Minneapolis; two grandchildren, Jeffrey and Amy Strack. She is further survived by one brother, Roger (Bernadette) Splitt of Ripon and one sister; Mary (Albert) Wheeler of McFarland and her mother, Gertrude Splitt of Ripon. She was preceded in death by her father.

Funeral services for Elaine G. Stellmacher will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 19, 1993 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Ripon with The Reverend William Toelle officiating. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery in the Town of Ripon. Friends may call from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, February 18, 1993 at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon where a VFW Auxiliary service will be held at 7:00 p.m. and the Parish Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. A memorial has been established for the St. Wenceslaus Church Elevator Fund or the American Cancer Society.
