Elda Huth

Elda E. Huth, age 96, of Parkview Care Center, Ripon, died Saturday, April 28, 2001.

Elda was born September 4, 1904, in the Township of Rosendale, a daughter to Herman and Minnie (Dumdie) Huth. She attended Fletcher School at Pickett and began working for the Advertiser’s (now Admanco) on January 28, 1924 and worked there her entire life. She worked at many different positions and finished her time there as a Floor lady in the Apron Department of sewing and inspecting. She retired in 1973. She was a 25 year member at Admanco. Elda was a member of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ all her life and found great enjoyment crocheting, knitting, rug weaving and gardening.

She is survived by one sister-in-law, Lorraine Huth of Rosendale. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, Wilbur Huth, Jeanette Garb, Wilma (Norm) Koplin, Phillip (Sue) Huth, and Jerold (Angie) Huth all of Ripon, Karen (Arlyn) Teetz, Donald (Vicki) Huth of Rosendale, Nancy (Pete) Thieson of Ann Arbor, Michigan and Robert (Malee) Huth of Oveida, FL. Also survived by cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and sisters-in-law, Oscar (Louise) Huth, Max (Elaine) Huth, Leo (Hope) Huth and George Huth and one sister and brother-in-law, Loretta (Louis) Albright.

Friends may call on Tuesday, May 1, 2001, from 1 – 2:00 pm with services at 2:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon. Reverend Rebecca A. Johnston will officiate. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ.
