Elda Louise Page, 95, of 530 N Union St, Ripon, passed away Thursday evening, December 29, 2005, at Michalenes in Ripon.
She was born in Ripon on June 17, 1910, the daughter of Reinhold and Elsie (Bierman) Luedke. She attended Prairie Country School. On January 26, 1927, she married James H. Page in Ripon. Elda had been a longtime resident of Milwaukee, moving to Ripon in 1980. She had been a retail sales clerk for Sears and Roebuck for 25 years. Elda was Past President of Ceresco Garden Club, and a longtime member of Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon.
Survivors include a son, Melvin (Joyce) Page of Oconomowoc; 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of sixty-one years, James; 1 daughter, Arlene Vincent; 1 son, Leland Page; daughter-in-law, Irene Page; great-grandson, Jim Page; 4 brothers; and 2 sisters.
Funeral service for Elda Page will be held Thursday, January 5, 2006 at 11 a.m. at Immanuel United Methodist Church with the Rev. Paul Nulton officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 4 from 5-7 p.m. at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, and again on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ripon. A memorial has been established.
