Elda F. Wetzel, age 92, of Bradenton, FL, formerly of Ripon, WI, passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2013, at Greenbriar Rehabilitation and Nursing Home in Bradenton, FL.
Elda was born November 28, 1920, in Ripon, the daughter of Carl and Clara (Bloch) Kenas. She graduated from high school and went on to receive her Bachelor’s Degree. On September 26, 1943, Elda married Glen Wetzel who passed away on March 27, 1984. She was an elementary school teacher and taught in Ripon for over 40 years.
She is survived by one daughter, Barbara Wetzel (Gene) of Bradenton, FL and several other family members. Elda was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Glen.
Visitation for Elda will be held on Wednesday, July 3, 2013, from 10 – 12:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.
There will be no funeral service held. Interment will follow visitation at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon.
