Eleanor Detloff

Eleanor Barbara Detloff, age 84, of Carmel, Indiana, formerly of Ripon, passed away February 13, 1993 at Lakeview Healthcare Center in Carmel, Indiana.
She was born on July 2, 1908, in Berlin, WI, the daughter of John and Josephine (Majewski) Lehman. She was educated in Fond du Lac and on February 26, 1926 she married Martin Detloff. Along with her husband she owned and operated Detloff Super Value grocery in Ripon from 1955- 1975. They also operated stores in Jefferson, Fond du Lac, Elm Grove, Racine and Menasha. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church of Ripon.
Survivors include one son, Robert Detloff of Carmel, IN; six grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren; and one sister, Bernadine Julius of Fond du Lac. She was preceded in death by her husband and one son.
Funeral Services for Eleanor Detloff will be held Tuesday, February 16, 1993 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Ripon with The Reverend John Schmitz officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Fond du Lac. Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, where a parish rosary will be recited at 8:00 p.m.
