Eleanor Hunt

Eleanor W. Hunt, age 99, died July 22, 1998, at Juliette Manor Nursing Home in Berlin.

She was born November 22, 1898, in Milwaukee, the daughter of Robert and Flora (Sheriffs) Wright. On September 15, 1923, she married Kenneth Hunt and they resided in Milwaukee until moving to Green Lake in 1948. Eleanor later lived in Ripon from 1966, until 1982, at which time she entered Juliette Manor. She was a member of the Federated Church of Green Lake, and was active in the B.P.W.C. Eleanor was a lifetime member of Order of the Eastern Star, a past Worthy Matron and was Grand Chaplin of the State O.E.S. She also was a lifetime member of the D.A.R.

She is survived by 2 sons, Richard “Dick” (Martha) Hunt of Oshkosh and Glenn (Nancy) Hunt of Reno, NV, 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth in August of 1965, her parents and stepfather W.B. Davidson.

Visitation will be Sunday, July 26, 1998, from 5:30 until 6:30 P.M., with an
Eastern Star service at 6:30 P.M. at the Federated Church of Green Lake.
Funeral services will be Sunday at 7:00 P.M. at the church with the Reverend
Karen Gygax Rodriguez officiating. Interment will be in Forest Home Cemetery,
Milwaukee. Memorials to Juliette Manor Nursing Home of Berlin.
