Eleanor Lillian Malzhan, age 91, of Green Lake, WI, passed away on Thursday, January 3, 2019, at Markesan Resident Home.
Eleanor was born March 23, 1927, at home, in Green Lake, WI to August Malzhan and Ella (Smith) Malzhan. Eleanor attended school in Green Lake and graduated from Green Lake High School. After graduating, she worked as a waitress and a factory worker as a stitcher at Fabrico. Eleanor also sold cosmetics for Avon. Eleanor was a member of The Federated Church of Green Lake.
Survivors include 2 nieces, Shirley Wollert and Marilyn Sonntag; and friend John (Carolyn) DeNamur. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Myrtle Tettenborn; two nieces, Darlene Janes and Caroline Tettenborn and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation for Eleanor will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2019, from 9 – 11:00 am at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.
Interment will follow at Dartford Cemetery in Green Lake, WI. Memorials may be directed to The Federated Church of Green Lake, P.O. Box 471, Green Lake, WI 54971.
