Eleanore A. Hasselman, age 99, passed away on Monday, June 08, 2009, at Ripon Medical Center in Ripon, WI.

Eleanore was born on January 8, 1910, in Sauk Center, MN, the daughter of Frank and Anna (Kind) Quade. She graduated from high school and was the founder of PGI formerly known as Protexall. Eleanore married Larry Hasselman in 1957 and was a member of Peace Lutheran Church and a past member of Business and Professional Women’s Green Lake Chapter.

Survivors include her grandchildren David (Marilyn) Sonntag, Dale (Teresa) Sonntag, Lynn (Chuck) Mirr, Doug Sonntag, Donald (Jeanne) Sonntag, James (Linda) Sonntag, Tom (LaDonna) Sonntag, Julie Gneiser, Lynda Cannova, and Mary (Frank) Sonntag-Beraducci, and Patricia (Timothy) Strandell; Two daughters-in-law, Philamae Sonntag and Joyce Sonntag; 29 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren; two sisters; one brother and many beloved nieces and nephews. Eleanore was preceded in death by her husband Larry; two sons, Marvin and Wayne Sonntag; great-granddaughter Ellie; three sisters and one brother.

Visitation for Eleanore Hasselman will be held on Friday, June 12, 2009, from 9 – 11:00 am at Peace Lutheran Church in Green Lake.

Funeral Service for Eleanore Hasselman will be held on Friday, June 12, 2009, at 11:00 am at Peace Lutheran Church in Green Lake, Reverend Rodney E. Dietsche officiating. Interment will follow at Dartford Cemetery, Green Lake. In lieu of flowers, Eleanore would like memorials to the Peace Lutheran Church in Green Lake, P.O. Box 224, and 440 Lake St. Green Lake, WI 54941.
