Elizabeth "Betty" Francour

Elizabeth “Betty” Ann Francour, age 74, of Green Lake, WI, passed away on Friday, September 6, 2013, at Kindred Hearts in Green Lake.
Betty was born May 23, 1939, in Crivitz, WI, the daughter of Frank and Eleanor (Sok) Zaida. She graduated from high school in Crivitz and went on to receive her Bachelor’s Degree at University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. On August 25, 1962, Betty married Robert James Francour in Pound, WI. She worked as a Credit Manager for Speed Queen in Ripon. Betty was a volunteer with The Friends of Caestecker Library in Green Lake.
Survivors include her daughter, Nicolette (Tom) Geiger of Littleton, CO; two sons, Douglas (Rabecca) Francour of Wisconsin Dells, WI and Patrick Francour of Green Lake, WI; four grandchildren, Julia and Ryan Geiger of Littleton, CO and Anna and Sara Francour of Wisconsin Dells, WI; two brothers, Walter (Angela) Zaida of Manhattan, IL and Raymond (Patricia) Zaida of Goleta, CA. She is further survived by nieces and nephews. Betty was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Robert.
There will be a visitation for Betty held on Monday, September 9, 2013, from 4 – 7:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971. There will be no funeral service to follow. A private family inurnment will take place at Dartford Cemetery in Green Lake at a later date. Memorials may be directed to The Friends of Caestecker Library, 518 Mill St., Green Lake, WI 54941.
