Elizabeth Jane Parks, age 88, of Oshkosh, WI, passed away on Wednesday, July 9, 1952, at the home of her granddaughter, Mrs. Wilbert Schmick.
Elizabeth was born November 4, 1863, in the Town of Utica, WI, the daughter of William and Elizabeth Pugh. She lived in the vicinity of Pickett all of her life.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Edna Scott of Timewell, IL and Mrs. Emily Carstensen of Green Lake; one son, William Parks of Pickett; one brother, David Pugh of Pickett; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nelson Parks on September 12, 1936.
Friends may call on Friday, July 11, 1952, after 12:00 noon at Butzin Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Elizabeth will be held on Saturday, July 12, 1952, at 1:30 pm at Bethesda Church in Ring, WI with The Reverend Q.R. Misdall officiating. Interment will take place at Liberty Prairie Cemetery in the Town of Utica.
