Ella "Blondie" Duntman

Ella “Blondie” Duntman, age 83, of Ripon, WI, passed away on August 30, 1992, at Parkview Care Center, Ripon.
She was born on April 30, 1909, in Dancy, WI; a daughter to Albert and Antonia (Buelow) Borth Sr. She was educated in Dancy and was a waitress at Moxie’s, The Republican House, Braun’s and The Spot. In addition she was a former owner and operator of Ronnie’s Market and Aladdin Carpet Cleaners. On January 30, 1949, she married Ronnie Duntman in Wisconsin Dells. Blondie was a member of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon, the V.F.W. Auxiliary and the former Ripon Eagles.
Survivors include daughter, Barbara (Jerry) Schwandt of Ripon; two grandsons, Randy (Sherry) Schwandt of Ripon and Rick (Shelly) Schwandt of Green Lake; one granddaughter, Renee (David) Dolske of Ripon; six great-grandchildren, Rachael, Michelle, Angela, and Zachary Schwandt and Jed and Nathan Dolske; one sister, Lula Dietzel of Ripon and several nephews. Her parents, her husband, one great-grandson, Jared, three brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.
Services for Mrs. Duntman will be Wednesday, September 2, 1992, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon. The Reverend Harley C.W. Tretow will officiate. Interment will follow in Garden of the Cross Cemetery in Ripon. Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. A memorial in Blondie’s name has been established for the church.
