Ellen Buchholz

Ellen Buchholz, age 77, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Monday, October 29, 1956, at Ripon Municipal Hospital.

Ellen was born September 29, 1956, in Wells, Minnesota, the daughter of Samuel and Caroline (Lawrence) Lange. She graduated from Wells High School and married Gus Buchholz on November 6, 1912. Ellen was a member of Ladies Aid and a former secretary for many years, Mission Society and secretary of her Sunday School Class.

Survivors include her husband, Gus; two sisters, Mrs. Hugo Rick of Waupun and Mrs. Fred Stoltzman of Ripon and two nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother and sister.

Friends may call on Tuesday, October 30, 1956, after 1:00 pm at Butzin Funeral Home in Ripon.

Funeral Service for Ellen will be held on Wednesday, October 31, 1956, at The First Evangelical Lutheran Church with The Reverend C.A. Bender officiating. Interment will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon.
