Ellen Grusczynski, age 86, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2015, at Pleasant Park Place in Ripon.
Ellen was born July 17, 1929, in Redgranite, WI, the daughter of Clyde and Sadie (Greger) Weisser. She graduated from Oshkosh High School. On July 10, 1948, Ellen married Edward “Eddie” Grusczynski. She was a member of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon and was a member of the Women’s Guild. Ellen was also one of the charter members of the Lioness Club and Ducks Unlimited.
Survivors include step-daughter, Donna (Howard) Sell of Markesan, WI; step-granddaughters, Kristy (Tim) Geiger of Neenah, WI, Brenda (Jeff) Schwaller of Pembine, WI, Pamela Kluge of Green Lake, WI, and Rebecca (Bill) Dumke of Manchester, WI; step-son-in-law, Kenneth Young of Neenah, WI; 9 step-great grandchildren and 9 step-great great grandchildren. Ellen was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eddie on December 6, 1995, and step-daughter Marlene.
Visitation for Ellen Grusczynski will be held on Monday, September 7, 2015, from 4 – 7:00 p.m. at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971 and again on Tuesday, September 8, 2015, from 10 – 11:00 a.m. at Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ, 343 Scott St., Ripon, WI 54971.
Funeral Service for Ellen Grusczynski will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon. Reverend Dr. Kevin P. Mundell will officiate. Interment will follow at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery in the Town of Ripon. Memorials may be directed to Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ, 343 Scott St., Ripon, WI 54971 or to Ripon Medical Center, 845 Parkside St, Ripon, WI 54971.
