Elmer Louis Hoth, age 65, of Ripon, WI passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 1955 at Ripon Municipal Hospital.
Elmer was born in Ripon on February 22, 1890, the son of William and Anna (Leistikow) Hoth. He graduated from Ripon High School and went on to serve our country from 1907 until 1915. On July 1, 1915 he married Freida Washkoske. Elmer worked at Wisconsin Power and Light Company for 36 years, and was a member of the Pioneer Club of The Wisconsin Power and Light Company.
Elmer is survived by his wife, Freida Hoth of Ripon, WI; three sons, Harold, Orville and Earl all of Ripon, WI; his father, William Hoth of Green Lake, WI; a brother, Fred Hoth of Green Lake, WI; a sister, Mrs. Chris Christensen of Santa Barbara, CA; and two grandsons, Ronald and Michael Hoth of Ripon, WI. He was preceded in death by his mother, Anna Hoth and a brother, Erwin.
Visitation for Elmer will be held from 7:00 pm on Thursday, June 9, 1955 until 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 11, 1955 at Butzin Funeral Home in Ripon, WI.
Funeral service for Elmer will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 11, 1955 at Butzin Funeral Home in Ripon, with Reverend E.E. Schieler officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Ripon, Wisconsin.
