Elmer Herman Metzig, age 47, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Monday, April 19, 1954, at Ripon Municipal Hospital.
Elmer was born January 27, 1907, in Berlin, WI, the son of Emil and Augusta (Hemple) Metzig. He married Esther Freitag on January 2, 1935. Elmer worked for Ripon Foods Inc. for 18 years in Ripon.
Survivors include his wife, Esther and one sister, Mrs. Florence Belcher of Beloit, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter and two sisters.
Friends may call on Wednesday, April 21, 1954, after 12:00 noon at Butzin Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Elmer will be held on Thursday, April 22 1954, at Butzin Funeral Home with The Reverend E.E. Schieler officiating. Interment will take place at Oakwood Cemetery in Berlin.
