Elmer G. Miller, age 85, of Ripon, WI, was taken into God’s arms December 13, 1996, at Markesan Residence Home.
He was born December 2, 1911, in Princeton, WI, a son of Henry and Augusta (Henslin) Miller. On October 23, 1935, he married Irene Meyer of Ripon. Mr. Miller was educated at Utley and Ripon Schools. He worked as a typesetter and supervisor at Admanco until his retirement in 1976. He was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church of Ripon.
Survivors include one daughter, LuAnn (Dave) Medick, of Randolph; one sister, Evelyn Rasmussen; one niece, Joanne (Jerry) Dickoiske; one great niece, Wanda (Leo) Vander Wyst all of Appleton; two sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded him in death were his wife and parents.
Funeral service will be Monday, December 16, 1996, at 11 am at Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon with the Reverends Ray Steger and David Busker officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon.
Visitation will be Monday from 10 am until the hour of the service at the church. A memorial has been established in his name.
