Elmer H. Schultz, 85, of Friendship Manor, Green Lake, passed away February 1, 1995, at Ripon Medical Center.
He was born July 9, 1909, in the Town of Green Lake, the son of Herman and Ida Tabbert Schultz. He was educated in Ripon and was engaged in farming until his retirement in 1968. On October 21, 1931, Elmer married Jennie Jahns. She preceded him death in 1979.
Elmer was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Ripon, where he served as a council member and past president. He also served on Green Lake County A.S.C.S. Committee for 14 years, and served as Secretary and Treasurer of the Fox Valley Livestock Cooperative. He also served as Clerk of the Dakin School Board, and served as assessor of the Town of Brooklyn and the Director of Green Lake, County Farm Bureau.
Elmer is survived by a very special friend, Shirley Jahnke of Green Lake, and one sister-in-law, Eunice (Carl) Schultz and one brother-in-law, Fred Luchsinger of Ripon, several nieces and nephews: Betty (Leland) Daberkow of Almond, WI, Edward (Diane) Schultz, Bancroft, WI, Ruth (Robert) Schulze, of Milwaukee, WI, Dale (Arlene) Luchsinger of Athens, GA, Marian (Marcel) Mildebrandt of Ripon and Carol (Robert) Kuphal, of Batavia, TL, and 12 grand nieces and nephews, 1 great-grand niece. Along with his wife, Elmer was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Malinda, Patrick, Alvina Schultz, and Mildred Luchsinger, 1 brother, Carl Schultz, 1 nephew, Donn Schultz, and 1 grand nephew.
Funeral services for Elmer Schultz will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, February 4, 1995, at Grace Lutheran Church in Ripon with the Reverend Richard Collier officicating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon. Friends may call from 9:00 am until the hour of services
Saturday at the church.
