Elmer A. Tetzlaff, age 82, of Willowbrook Apts, 615 W. Oshkosh St., Ripon, died Monday morning, January 27, 2003, at his home.
He was born April 15, 1920, in Big Mecan, Marquette Co., a son to Paul and Bertha (Briese) Tetzlaff. On August 10, 1947, he married Doris Clara Neitzke. Elmer had been a truck driver for Ripon Foods and 4X Corporation, and had lived in Princeton prior to moving to Ripon in 1998. He a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Green Lake.
Survivors include two sons, Roger Tetzlaff of California and Michael (Bandy) Tetzlaff of Missouri; 6 grandchildren; 1 brother, Fredrick Tetzlaff of California; one sister, Alice Nighbor of Cambria; and 1 sister-in-law, Myra Tetzlaff of Fond du Lac. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Allen; wife, Doris; brother, Erwin Tetzlaff; and sister, Adeline Nowacki.
Funeral service for Elmer A. Tetzlaff will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 1, 2003, at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon, with visitation at the funeral home on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. Visitation will also be Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. The Rev. Rodney E. Dietsche will officiate. Interment will be in Memory Hill Cemetery, Princeton.
