Eloise Nummerdor

Eloise (Weckwerth) Nummerdor (nee Ziesmer), age 86, formerly of Ripon, passed away Sunday evening, December 4, 2005, at The Gardens of Green Lake Manor in Green Lake.
She was born June 21, 1919, the daughter of Fred and Mabel (Granger) Ziesmer. Eloise graduated from Markesan High School, and on January 10, 1942, she married Bernard Weckwerth at her family home. They made their home on a rural Ripon farm until he passed away in January 1990. She later married longtime family friend, Arnold Nummerdor in August 1995, and they enjoyed travel and retirement until he passed away in March 2000. Eloise was a member of Grace Lutheran Church where she spent many years as a Sunday School teacher and an eager volunteer. She also served at the Ripon Senior Center and was a lifetime member of the Ripon Historical Society, and a former member of the Homemakers Club. Eloise was a teacher of adult classes at MPTC and in 1980-81, was chosen Teacher of the year. For many years, she spent most of her spare time teaching classes at many local Senior Service Centers. She was devoted to helping others and was always happiest when giving of herself, her time and talents.
Eloise is survived by her children, Randy (Nancy) Weckwerth of Ripon and Janis (Virgil) Zills of Ripon; four grandchildren, Eric Zills, Rosendale, Jason (Angela) Zills of Ashwaubenon, Dana Zills, Ripon and Pam Weckwerth, Ripon; seven great-grandchildren, Jarett and Brayden Zills, Jacob, Logan and Paige Zills, Rachel Zills and Conner Weckwerth; stepdaughters, Nellie (Joe) Greening and Beverly (Roy) Chadwick and stepson, Richard Nummerdor. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Bernard; her second husband, Arnold; brother and sister-in-law, Edward “Bud” and Joyce (Ninneman) Ziesmer; sister and brother-in-law, Dr. Arden and Katherine (Ziesmer) Weckwerth; nephews, Jeff Weckwerth and Jerry Ziesmer; and niece, Jane Ziesmer.
Funeral service for Eloise Nummerdor will be at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, December 7, 2005, at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon with the Rev. Sandra Krynik officiating. Friends may call Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Green Lake Center Cemetery, Town of Green Lake. A memorial has been established.
