Elsa Kaatz, age 97, formerly of Rosendale, passed away on Monday, June 8, 1992, at Fond du Lac Health Care Center.
She was born June 1, 1895, in the Town of Lamartine to the late Ernest and Augusta Nook Hemple. She was a housekeeper and had resided in the Rosendale area for over 20 years. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Rosendale.
Survivors include two daughters, Hilda Zuhlke of Portage and Sylvia Owens of Wild Rose; sixteen grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers and eight sisters.
Funeral services for Elsa Kaatz will be held on Friday, June 12, 1992 at Peace Lutheran Church, Rosendale. The Reverend Bruce Buslaff will officiate. Interment will follow in the Rosendale Cemetery, Rosendale. Friends may call Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
