Elsa “Elsie” Krueger, age 95, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Friday, October 31, 2014, at her home.
Elsie was born March 20, 1919, in Green Lake, WI, the daughter of William and Emma (Steinke) Keplin. She graduated from Ripon High School. On May 25, 1946, Elsie married Roland Krueger. She worked as an assembler at Speed Queen in Ripon and was an active member of the Local 1327 Retirees. Elsie was a member of Hillside Assembly and in her earlier years taught Sunday School. Elsie loved her family and was always involved in her nieces, nephews and cousins lives.
Survivors include two sisters, Erna Weich and Dolores Ingersoll both of Ripon, WI; brother, Aldon “Tubby” (Anita) Keplin of Brandon, WI; two sisters-in-law, Erma Koplin and Esther Stellmacher both of Ripon, WI and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Elsie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Roland; three brothers, Edison, Eric and Clarence (Avice) and two brothers-in-law, Harold Weich and L. Clayton Ingersoll.
Visitation for Elsie will be held on Monday, November 3, 2014, from 10 – 11:00 am at Hillside Assembly, 656 West Oshkosh St., Ripon, WI 54971.
Funeral service for Elsie will be held on Monday, November 3, 2014, at 11:00 am at Hillside Assembly in Ripon. Reverend Donald Deike will officiate. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon. Memorials may be directed to Hillside Assembly, Elevator Project, 656 West Oshkosh St., Ripon, WI 54971.
