Elsa Moderow, age 92, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Saturday, April 9, 1988, at Parkview Nursing Home in Ripon.
Elsa was born January 18, 1896, in Milwaukee, WI, the son of Robert and Helene Nehring Schmeck. She was educated in Markesan and was a homemaker. On September 24, 1919, Elsa married Carl F. Moderow until his passing on November 2, 1968. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Ripon.
Survivors include two daughters, Elaine Heatley of Ripon and Beverly Nass of Bloomington, MN; 7 grandsons and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Friends may call from 10 – 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 12, 1988, at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 12, 1988, at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon with the Reverend Carl L. Stubenvoll officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon.
