Elsie Nelson Gransee, age 86, died Tuesday, October 21, 1997, in San Rafael, CA.
A native of Milltown, WI, she was born October 6, 1911. She married Orville Gransee in 1937, and he passed away in 1974. Elsie lived in Novata, CA, where she was a longtime member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and taught Bible Fellowship in the 1970’s.
She is survived by her children, Sharon O’Brien and William Gransee and grandchildren, Sean and Shannon O’Brien all of Novato, and one sister, Alice Driesbach of Yuba City, CA.
Funeral services were held in Novato, CA. Local graveside services will be Saturday, October 25, 1997 at 2 pm at the Rosendale Cemetery in Rosendale with Pastor Paul Holte officiating.
