Elsie Kobernik, age 86, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Friday, February 27, 1987, at Ripon Memorial Hospital.
Elsie was born August 15, 1900, in the Town of Springvale, WI, the daughter of Mathilda and William Rueckert. She married Elmer Kobernik on May 4, 1921. He preceded her in death on June 5, 1955. Also preceding her was a daughter who died in infancy; two brothers and two sisters.
Elsie lived in Green Lake until 1973, when she moved to Ripon. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Green Lake, WI, and a past member of their ladies aid.
Surviving are one daughter, Myra (James) Clark of Ripon; two grandsons, Keith Kannenberg of San Diego, CA and Ronald Kannenberg of Green Lake.
Visitation for Elsie will be held Sunday, March 1, 1987, from 3 – 7:30 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Elsie will be held Monday, March 2, 1987, at 1:30 pm at Peace Lutheran Church in Green Lake with Reverend Rodney Dietsche officiating. Interment will follow at Dartford Cemetery in Green Lake.
