Elsie Koehler

Elsie Anna Koehler, age 89, of Ripon, WI, passed away on February 7, 1987, at Omro Care Center in Omro.

Elsie was born December 26, 1897, in the Town of Ripon, WI, the daughter of John and Anna (Guenther) Kennedy. In 1920, she married Harry Koehler. He passed away in 1963. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Ripon and of the Ladies Aid. She was a Charter member of Ripon Senior Citizens Center and a member of the Royal Neighbors.

Survivors include one daughter, Marilyn (Ray) Owens of Tampa, FL; one son, George of Ripon; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers and one son.

There will be no visitation for Elsie. Private family services will be held at a later date. Interment will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon. A memorial has been established for the Ladies Aid of Grace Lutheran Church.
