Elva L. McElroy, age 97, of Ripon WI, passed away on Friday, April 20, 2012.
Elva was born on March 17, 1915, in the village of Eureka, WI, the daughter of John and Myrtle (Allen) Barnett. She married Bernard D. McElroy in Waukegan, IL, in 1930. Elva was a housewife and a homemaker. She was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her son, Richard B. McElroy of Beam Station, TN; grandchildren, Guy McElroy of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, Richard McElroy of Milwaukee, WI, Russell Scott McElroy of Reno, NV, and Lori Van Cleave of Torrance, CA; three great grandchildren; and daughter-in-law, Carol McElroy of Ripon, WI. Elva was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bernard; sons, Robert and Russell McElroy; nephew, Patrick McElroy; granddaughter, Linda Sue McElroy; along with two brothers and three sisters.
Graveside Prayer service for Elva L. McElroy will be on Monday, April 23, 2012, at 2:00 pm, at Eureka Cemetery, with the Reverend Josh Pegram officiating.
