Emil Reinsch

Emil A. Reinsch, age 103, of Ripon, WI, died Sunday, March 2, 1997, at Parkview Care Center in Ripon after a brief stay.
He was born July 16, 1893, in Utley, Green Lake County, a son of the late Joseph and Emma Reinsch. He attended rural school in Utley and Ceresco School in Ripon. He married Marie Fochs and they made their home in Ripon where Emil owned the Fox River Glove Company. He had lived in Ripon most of his life and was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. At his age, until most recently, Emil was still an avid bowler, and his pastime was refurbishing old homes and then selling them.
He is survived by his daughter, Beverly Sather of Waupaca; daughter-in-law, Lu Reinsch of Ripon; grandchildren, Michael (Mary) Reinsch of Ripon and their children, Lee and Craig, John (Christi) Reinsch of Ripon and their children, Ingrid, Greta, Millicent, John Jr. and Elsa, Patty (Steve) Gruetzmacher of Ripon and their children, Joseph and Stephenie, Bruce (Dawn) Sather of Bolton, MA, Cathi (Bruce) Beattie of Warwick, RI and their children, Guy and Geoff, Marlynn (Richard) Rutenberg of Philadelphia, PA and their children, Adena, Josuah, Daniel, David, Rebecca and Michael, Deborah (Christian) Haufler of Marshfield Hills, MA, Robert (Elizabeth) Sather of Milwaukee and their children, Paul, Eileen, Clare, Margaret, Charles and Monica, Thomas (Mizue) Sather of Chicago, and Mary Beth (Steve) Marquardt of Brentwood, TN and daughter, Savannah. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Irmgard in 1932, son-in-law, Sherwood Sather in 1973, wife, Marie in 1981 and son, Carroll R. Reinsch in 1987.
Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Thursday, March 6, 1997, at 10:30 am at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Ripon with Father John A. Schmitz officiating. Interment will be in St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery in the Town of Ripon.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 5 from 4 until 8 pm with a Rosary at 7:30 pm at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. A memorial has been established for St. Patrick Catholic Church.
