Emil Herman Werch, age 86, of Ripon, WI, passed away Thursday, October 4, 1984, at Rolling Meadows in Fond du Lac, WI.
Emil was born February 17, 1898, in Germany, the son of Andrew and Johanna Werch. He was educated in Borth, WI. Emil married Esther Eckart on October 7, 1926, until her death on June 21, 1947. He lived in Ripon most of his life and worked as a farmer. Emil was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church.
Survivors include one son, Dwain Werch of Ripon, WI; two daughters, Beverly (Richard) Wagner of Menomonee Falls, WI and Dolores (Wayne) Belanger of Fond du Lac, WI; twelve grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; five brothers, William Werch of Orlando, FL, Edwin Werch of Berlin, WI, Paul Werch of Berlin, WI, Daniel Werch of Oshkosh, WI and Lawrence Werch of Boca Raton, FL and one sister, Esther Kellerman of GA. He was preceded in death by his wife, three brothers and one sister.
Visitation for Emil will be held on Sunday, October 7, 1984, from 3 – 5:00 pm and 7 – 9:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Emil will be held on Monday, October 8, 1984, at 11:00 am at Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon with Reverend Virgil Nulton officiating. Interment will follow at Nepeuskun Cemetery in the Town of Nepeuskun. A memorial has been established.
