Emil H. Wesner, age 79, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Friday, July 17, 1987 at Ripon Memorial Hospital.
Emil was born on January 2, 1908 in Borth, WI, the son of Fredrick and Otilla (Wels) Wesner. He attended McConnell School in the Town of Brooklyn and lived in the Green Lake area all of his life. He married Freda Ewing who passed away in 1982. Emil was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church.
Emil is survived by his son, Marvin of Ripon; three daughters, Mrs. Alice (Elton) Towne of Portage, WI, Mrs. Patricia (Edward) Badtke of Ripon, and Mrs. Cheryl (Greg) Coburn of Ripon; 12 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters; and 8 brothers. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fredrick and Otilla Wesner; wife, Freda; a son; a brother; and one sister.
Visitation for Emil will be held from 5:00 until 9:00 on Monday, July 20, 1987 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home.
Funeral Services for Emil will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 21, 1987 at Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon, with The Rev. Robert LeCount officiating. Interment will follow at Dartford Cemetery, Green Lake, WI. A memorial has been established.
