Emil W. Zech, age 101, of 50 Wolverton Avenue in Ripon died Friday, July 8, 1988, at Parkview Nursing Home in Ripon.
Mr. Zech was born April 4, 1887 in Omro to William and Amelia Dahlke Zech. He was a farmer and lived in the Ripon area most of his life except for living in Appleton for a short time after his retirement in 1958. He married Mary Krolow on September 15, 1955. She preceded him in death on August 18, 1966. He was also preceded in death by 3 sisters: Matilda Klietz, Augusta Thelke and Anna Zech, and 4 brothers: Albert, Frank, Will, and Julius. Mr. Zech is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Services for Mr. Emil Zech will be held Monday, July 11, 1988, at 2:00 pm at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon with Reverend LeCount officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeview Memorial Park in Oshkosh. Friends may call Monday from noon until the time of services at the Funeral Home.
