Emma Jess, age 76, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Saturday, May 5, 1956, at home.
Emma was born March 9, 1880, in Ripon, WI, the daughter of Peter and Caroline (Luetke) Dittman. She was educated in Ripon schools. Emma married William Jess on June 7, 1907, in Ripon. She was a member of the Women's Guild of the church and the Priscilla Club in Ripon.
Survivors include one daughter, Miss Doris Jess of Downey, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband, William; one daughter, four sisters and one brother.
Friends may call on Sunday, May 6, 1956, after 12:00 noon at Butzin Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Emma will be held on Tuesday, May 8, 1956, at 11:00 am at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ripon with The Reverend E.E. Schieler officiating. Interment will take place at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery in the Town of Ripon.
