Emma Ida Link, 90, Ripon, died Saturday, April 18, 1998, at Parkview Care Center in Ripon where she has lived since 1991.
She was born May 8, 1907, in West Rosendale, a daughter to Fred and Emilia (Plautz) Zarnott. She attended school in West Rosendale and in Ripon. On May 27, 1925, she married Wilbert Link. Emma had lived in Ripon most of her life. She was a seamstress at Ripon Knitting Works.
She is survived by 1 daughter, Shirley (Fred) Dahike of Ripon; son-in-law, Melvin Berndt of Ripon; 4 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and 5 step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Wilbert, daughter Lorraine Bemdt, 2 sisters and 1 brother.
Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, April 21, 1998 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon with the Reverend Eric Burnard officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ripon.
