Miss Emma Minna Manthei, age 70, of Ripon, WI passed away Friday, November 30, 1951 at Ripon Municipal Hospital.
Emma was born in Ripon on September 12, 1881, the daughter of August and Augusta (Krause) Manthei. She has lived in Ripon all of her life and worked for 19 years at Ripon Knitting Works and 12 years at the Fox River Glove Company. She was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Emma is survived by a sister, Miss Augusta Manthei; five nephews; and three nieces. She was preceded in death by six brothers and two sisters.
Visitation for Emma will be held from 10:00 am on Sunday, December 2, 1951 until 2:00 pm on Tuesday, December 4, 1951 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral service for Emma will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, December 4, 1951 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon with Rev. E.E. Schieler officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Ripon.
