Emma Zuege (nee Siedlitz), age 81, of Markesan, WI, passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 1955 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Elmer Mann in the Town of Manchester, WI.
Emma was born in Posen, Germany on July 23, 1873. She has lived in the Town of Rosendale, WI for 60 years and the last 7 years in Markesan, WI. On December 13, 1893 she married Emil Zuege.
Emma is survived by a son, Arthur of the Town of Rosendale, WI; a daughter, Helen Mann of the Town of Manchester, WI; two grandchildren, Leslie Zuege and Betty Jane Mann; four great-grandchildren, Wayne, Dalee, Lee, and Russell Zuege. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emil Zuege; four brothers; and one sister.
Visitation for Emma will be held from 12:00 pm on Thursday, April 14, 1955 until 10:00 am on Friday, April 15, 1955 at Butzin Funeral Home in Ripon, and again from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm on Friday, April 15, 1955 at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ripon.
Funeral service for Emma will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, April 15, 1955 at First Evangelical Lutheran Church, with Reverend E.E. Schieler officiating. Interment will follow at Rosendale Cemetery, Rosendale, WI.
