Era Louise Kuhs

Era Louise Kuhs, age 86, of Ripon, passed away on Monday, January 3, 2011, at Michalene’s in Ripon, WI.
Louise was born on March 10, 1924, in Huntsville, AL, the daughter of James and Julia (Webb) Brand. In 1954, she married Elmer Kuhs in Ripon. Louise was a waitress for many years and was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Ripon.
Survivors include her husband, Elmer; one son, Tim (Corinne) Kuhs of West Allis, WI; two step sons, Thomas (Joy) Kuhs of Kalamazoo, MI and James (Becky) Nichols of Kankakee, IL and two sisters, Willie Mae Cory and Opal Trickett both of Booneville, AR. She is further survived by grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Louise was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Richard and James Brand.
Visitation for Era Louise Kuhs will be held on Thursday, January 6, 2011, from 9 – 11:00 am at Grace Lutheran Church, 430 Griswold St. Ripon, WI 54971.
Funeral Service for Era Louise Kuhs will be held on Thursday, January 6, 2011, at 11:00 am at Grace Lutheran Church in Ripon. Pastor Sandra Krynik will officiate. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon. A memorial is being established.
The family would like to thank Maple Crest, Michalene’s, Ripon Medical Center and Heartland Hospice for their wonderful care they provided to Louise.
