Erma G. Busha, age 82, of Ripon, passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2008, at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac.
Erma was born on March 3, 1926, in Ripon, the daughter of Frank and Grace (Fietz) Wetzel. She was educated in the Ripon schools. On April 7, 1945, she married Thomas C. Busha. Erma farmed in the Winneconne and Pickett area and was a seasonal worker for Miles Kimball of Oshkosh. She was a past member of Altar Society, St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church of Ripon, Fond du Lac County volunteer for many years, Pickett Community Center, and Elo Grange.
Survivors include her daughter, Carol (Tom) Ruby of Fond du Lac; granddaughters, Kathleen Ruby of Madison and Kimberly (Brian) Kavanagh of Eagleville, PA; grandson, Kevin (Laura) Ruby of Hatboro, PA; and great-grandsons, Ryan and Braden Kavanagh of Eagleville, PA, and Dylan and Kyle Ruby of Hatboro, PA. Erma was preceded in death her husband, Thomas Busha on December 20, 1986, parents, Frank and Grace Wetzel, brothers, Glen and Roger Wetzel and other relatives and friends.
Visitation for Erma Busha will be held on Sunday, December 21, 2008, from 3:00-7:00 p.m. at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, and again on Monday, December 22, 2008, from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 218 Blossom St. Ripon.
Funeral Service for Erma Busha will be held on Monday, December 22, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 218 Blossom St. Ripon with Father Robert Fictum officiating. Interment will be held in Liberty Prairie Cemetery, Town of Utica. A memorial has been established.
