Erma Gertrude Folsom, age 78, of Green Lake, WI, passed away on July 24, 1985, at Ripon Memorial Hospital.
Erma was born March 15, 1907, in the Town of Bluffton, WI, the daughter of William Carl and Martha (Kelm) Lueck. She graduated from Green Lake High School and then Ripon College. Erma married Carl Weinkauf in 1964 and after his death married Howard Folsom on December 27, 1967. She was a member of The Federated Church of Green Lake, past member of the Matron O.E.S., president of Long Boat in Key, FL, the 20th Cent Club and active in many community socials and music organizations.
Survivors include her husband, Howard; one son, William of Green Lake, WI; three grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, two step-sons, Dr. Robert J. Folsom of Marco Island, FL and Thomas W. Folsom of Manitowsh Waters, WI and one sister, Louella (Thomas) Ray of West Bend, WI.
Visitation for Erma will be held on Thursday, July 25, 1985, from 5 – 8:30 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home.
Funeral Service for Erma will be held on Friday, July 26, 1985, at 2:00 pm at The Federated Church of Green Lake with Reverend Dwight Bastian officiating. Interment will follow at Dartford Cemetery in Green Lake. A memorial has been established for the church.
