Erna Rasske

Erna Rasske, age 86, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 1992 at Parkview Care Center in Ripon where she was a resident.

Mrs. Rasske was born March 11, 1906, in Clark County, the daughter of Karl and Louise (Malon) Schroeder. She was educated in Oakfield. On September 17, 1925, she married Willaim Rasske. Together they made their home in Ripon since 1942. He preceded her in death on October 2, 1979. She was florist and housewife, and was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and the ladies aid.

Survivors include two sons, Norman (Nola) Rasske of Ripon and Lynn (Sue) Rasske of Beaver Dam; three daughters, Naomi (David) Kelm and Rosalie Jess, both of Ripon, and Gloria (Robert) Kelm of Markesan; seventeen grandchildren; eight step-grandchidlren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Martha Witte of Fond du Lac. Her husband, six brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.

Funeral services for Erna Rasske will be held Saturday, July 18, 1992 at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, Ripon. The Reverend Arlin Adams will officiate and interment will be in Garden of the Cross Cemetery, Ripon. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, July 17, 1992, at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon. A memorial has been established for Grace Lutheran Church in her name.
