Erna Wagner, age 95, Bokeelia, Florida, passed away early Wednesday morning, March 29, 2006, at Ripon Medical Center.
She was born May 19, 1910, in Plainfield, WI. a daughter to John and Clara (Gerwing) Indermuehle. Erna graduated as a Registered Nurse from Milwaukee General Hospital in 1931. On November 26, 1933, she married Charlie Wagner in Plainfield. She worked at the Wild Rose Hospital and as a Private Duty Nurse at various hospitals. Erna was a member of Pine Island United Methodist Church in Bokeelia, FL.
Erna is survived by her daughter, Charlotte (Warren) Sherman, Ripon; 2 grandchildren, Dan (Jody) Sherman, Wakefield, MA and Diane (Norton) Krauss, Ripon; 3 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Raymond Indermuehle, Kenniwick, WA; and sister-in-law, Gladys Indermuehle, Plainfield. She was preceded in death by her husband, 1 sister, and 2 brothers.
A Memorial service for Erna Wagner will be held Saturday, April 1, 2006, at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, at 2:00 p.m. with the Reverend Paul Nulton officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00- 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 1, 2006, at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral home in Ripon. Inurnment will be in Plainfield Cemetery, Town of Plainfield, WI. A memorial has been established.
