Ernest Edward Liefke, age 70, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Friday, July 30, 1954, at his home.
Ernest was born October 7, 1883, in Marquette County, WI, the son of Ernest and Pauline Liefke. He worked as a farmer his whole life. On September 28, 1910, Ernest married Lena Lindow in Ripon. He lived in the Town of Ripon for 17 years and in Ripon for 24 years.
Survivors include his wife, Lena; three daughters, Mrs. Earl Hammen of Ripon, Mrs. Lawrence Briske of Yuma, Arizona and Mrs. Edgar Siedschlag Liefke of Sunnyside, WA. He was preceded in death by one son, one sister and one brother.
Friends may call on Saturday, July 31, 1954, after 7:00 pm, at Butzin Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Ernest will be held on Monday, August 2, 1954, at 2:00 pm at Grace Lutheran Church with The Reverend Carl Stubenvoll officiating. Interment will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon.
