Ernestine Seymer

Ernestine “Tina” Marie Seymer, age 76, of Brandon where she resided with her daughter and family, formerly of Ripon, entered heaven to be with her loved ones who went before her on Thursday, November 1, 2001, at Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac.
She was born January 19, 1925, in Fair Oaks, IN, the daughter of Herman and Edith (Sanders) Hass. She attended St. Peter’s Lutheran School in Fond du Lac. On March 1, 1942, she married Wayne L. Roberts and he passed away January 13, 1967. She later married Cyril A. Seymer on April 25, 1970, and he passed away on December 6, 1999. Tina had been a nursing assistant for many years. She lovingly raised 10 children and was a beloved mother. Mrs. Seymer was a member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church in Ripon.
Survivors include two sons, Lawrence (Carol) Roberts of Harford and Wayne (Kathy) Roberts of Fond du Lac; six daughters, Judy (Jerry) Rogers of Tacoma, WA, Suzanne (DuWayne) Kapp of Fond du Lac, Shirley (Thomas) Koehn of Fond du Lac, Linda (James) Winkler of Ripon, Kristine (John) Kahl of Markesan and Sheila (Randy) Engel of Brandon; one step son, Robert (Kathy) Seymer of Friendship; one step daughter, Mary Stolzman of Tucson; 27 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by one brother, Emil (Tola) Hass of FL; three sisters, Elsie (Arthur) Hass of Van Dyne, Jeanette (David) Keipe of Fond du Lac, and Doris (Darvin) Duehring of Eldorado; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two daughters and husbands.
Funeral service for Ernestine “Tina” Seymer will be Tuesday, November 6, 2001, at 11 am at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church with Reverend Paul Mose officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 4 – 8:00 pm at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon, and again on Tuesday from 10 am until the time of the service at the church. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Hospice Home of Hope, 400 County Rd. K, Fond du Lac, WI 54935.
