Ervin C. Zamzow, 76, of Fond du Lac, WI passed away on July 31, 2007 at Fond du Lac Lutheran Home.
Ervin was born on July 17, 1931 the son of Earl and Mildred (Allender) Zamzow in Fond du Lac, WI. He attended Fond du Lac High School and DeVry Technical College in Chicago. Ervin worked as a Contractor for Sterling Custom Built Homes, and owned Zamzow T.V. Sales and Service. On February 3, 1951 he married Fern Schultz in Ripon, WI. Ervin served in the US Army during the Korean War, and was awarded the Korean Service Ribbon with 3 Bronze Service Stars. He was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon, as well as a member of the V.F.W. in Rosendale.
Survivors include his wife, Fern Zamzow of Fond du Lac, a son; Larry (Kristine) Zamzow of West Bend, two daughters; Cindy Zamzow of Neenah, and Kathy (Robert) Peschke of Rosendale, six grandchildren; Tyler, Karl, Erik, and Nikki Peschke, Ryan and Sara Zamzow, and one sister; Faye Vossekuil of Hilbert, WI. Ervin was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters; Geraldine Schneider and Karen Birschbach, and one brother, Harvey Zamzow.
Visitation for Ervin C. Zamzow will be held on Friday, August 3, 2007 from 4:00-7:00PM at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, and again on Saturday, August 4, 2007 from 10:00-11:00AM at Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon.
Funeral Services for Ervin C. Zamzow will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2007 at 11:00AM at the Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon with the Reverend Paul Nulton officiating. Interment will follow at Rosendale Cemetery in the Village of Rosendale. A Memorial has been established.
