Estelle M. Kress, age 89, of Neshkoro, died Tuesday, July 1, 1997, at Sunnyview Health and Rehab Center, Princeton.
She was born in Watertown, WI on December 18, 1907, a daughter to Joseph and Kathryn (McGuire) Brooks. She was a graduate of St. Mary’s Catholic School in Milwaukee. On November 12, 1931, she married Paul F. Kress. She was a housewife and had lived most of her life in Neenah. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Menesha and the Sanctuary Society. Estelle enjoyed playing golf, doing needlepoint and quilting.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Nancy (Bob) Abraham of Neshkoro and Mary (Larry) Edmondson of Roscoe, IL; 2 sons, Tom (Pat) Kress of San Antonio, TX and Jim (Vicky) Kress of Manchester, NH; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband on October 27, 1963, 1 brother and her parents.
A Memorial Mass will be held Friday, July 11, 1997, at 11 AM at St James Church, Neshkoro with the Rev. Joseph H. Schluefer officiating. lnurnment will be in St. Margaret’s Cemetery, Neenah.
